The story

The Vale is coming undone

Long ago, the First Weaver knitted the world together from starlight and tied it with four threads. Now a shadow is pulling at the seams.

You are a Myo Myo, a small fluffy creature with a strand of starlight inside. Help the villagers of Hearthwhisker, defeat the four guardians who hold the threads, and claim the Regalia that lets you walk through the Archive's forcefield.

Six regions

One soft, strange world

From snowy tundra to lava fields to a chain of tropical islands. Each region has its own questline, music, monsters and a guardian at the end.

Levels 1 to 10

Hearthwhisker Heartlands

Your cozy home. Candlelit cottages, cotton-candy trees and meadows full of mischievous dust bunnies. The Whispering Woods and Moonstone Hills hide older, stranger things.

Frostwhisker Tundra

A hushed, snowy wilderness under shimmering auroras. Warm up at Snowdrift Camp, befriend a wild skier, then climb to the great owl's aerie.

Catch the ferry from Hearthwhisker Harbor to a chain of sunny islands. Palm trees, coral reefs, pirate kids and one very grumpy crab king.

What you'll do

Everything you love about an MMO

Quests, loot, bosses, pets, professions, housing and an arena. Minus the grind, the toxicity and the monthly fee.

A sky full of life

Sky whales glide over the village. Hot air balloons drift past floating islands with waterfalls. At dusk, paper lanterns rise from every town and shooting stars streak across the night.

Boss fights with real mechanics

Every region ends in a guardian with telegraphed attacks. Dodge glowing circles, jump over shockwaves, light braziers before the eclipse. Learn the dance, then win it.

Glorpidorps: bond, breed and dress up

Breed two glorps and the baby mixes their colors, stats and traits. Dress them in hats, tail bows and embroidered blankets. Seven squishy breeds with their own abilities. A Sky Glorp can fly, a Puff Glorp jumps sky-high, an Ember Glorp walks through lava. At low bond they get distracted and even buck you off. Feed, water and groom them in the stables, race them at the Academy, and unlock chests only the right glorp can reach.

Six dungeons, better with friends

Burrowdeep Warren, Mothlight Hollow, Frostfang Grotto, the Sunken Tidevault, Cinderforge Depths and the Unbound Stacks. Each ends in a unique boss with its own loot. Form a myolet of up to five and every hit anyone lands counts for the whole group.

Weather with teeth

Drizzle, rain, snowfall, ashfall, thunderstorms and tornados roll across the Vale on a shared clock. Big storms summon storm bosses like Voltpuff, the Thunder Colossus, who only stick around while the storm lasts.

Dive to the sea floor

Hold X to dive. Kelp forests, giant clams with pearls, sunken treasure chests and a dungeon door on the ocean floor. Watch your breath, unless you ride a Puddle Glorp.

A world you share

Play online with everyone in the Vale. Whisper friends, form a myolet, chat as a group and trade at the auction house. Five character slots per player.

Tiny humans as battle pets

Befriend a hiker with a cookie. Hire a very small knight. Rescue a lost astronaut. Thirteen pint-sized companions follow you, fight beside you and level up.

Buy, upgrade and rent out houses

Save up for a cottage, then add a porch, a garden, a second story and a starglass observatory. Rent it out and collect gold while you are away.

Fully voiced villagers

Every character has their own voice and personality, from Elder Nibbles and Captain Bramblepaw to Madame Tuppence, the realtor who would love to sell you a lodge.

Music that follows the sun

The soundtrack shifts with every region and every hour. Bright melodies by day, warm guitars at dusk and gentle bells under the moon. Birdsong in the meadows, crickets after dark.

Garden, fish, forge

Seven professions. Grow crops that keep growing while you are away, fish ponds, seas and even lava, and forge bars into glorp armor. Gear wears down in battle, so repair it at a smith and hone it up to +5.

Talents, gear and 89 achievements

Spend talent points and chase loot in five rarities, up to Legendary. Every piece you equip shows up on your Myo Myo. Earn achievements and titles for everything from beating bosses to catching a Magma Minnow.

Good to know

Is World of Myo free?

Yes. The whole game is free to play in your browser. There are no ads, no purchases and no account to create.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Open worldofmyo.com/play in a modern browser and you are in. It works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Can I play on my phone or tablet?

Yes. On touch screens you get an on-screen joystick and ability buttons. A recent phone runs it well. Switch Graphics to Low in the menu if it feels slow.

Is it multiplayer?

Yes. On worldofmyo.com you play in a shared online world. You see other players, their gear and their glorpidorps, chat, whisper and emote. Team up in a myolet of up to five to share kill credit and run dungeons together, where every hit anyone lands counts for the whole group. Trade items directly with any player, or use the auction house. Pick a nickname and icon so friends can find you on the map.

What are myolets?

A myolet is a group of up to five Myo Myos. Invite anyone who is online, even in another realm. You get a private myolet chat (/p), shared quest credit for kills nearby, and co-op dungeon runs.
