From the tomes of the Archive
Five tomes rest inside the Archive. Here are the first three. The rest you'll have to read yourself.
Before the Vale
Before there was ground, there was the Drawer. It was warm and dark and full of lost socks.
In it slept the First Weaver, a Myo Myo no bigger than a thimble, who dreamed in thread.
The Knitting of the World
Each night the Weaver pulled one strand of starlight through the keyhole of the Drawer and knitted a little more of the world.
Meadows were purl stitches. Mountains were cables. The sea was the one time she dropped a stitch, and she decided she liked it.
The Four Threads
She tied the world together with four threads: Loom for the heart, Rime for the stillness, Tide for the motion and Ember for the warmth.
As long as all four held, the Vale could never come undone.
